Engeletrica has completed yet another strategic project in the Defense sector with excellence: the complete delivery of Metal Towers for the installation of Meteorological Radars from the company IACIT, with execution in the cities of Belém (PA) - 35m high and Rio Branco (AC) - 15m high.

The towers were developed with a robust and modular metal structure, following strict quality and safety standards, with special attention to the technical standards applicable to the defense and radar control sector. Each project was customized to meet the specific needs of topography, logistics and field operations.
In addition to manufacturing, Engeletrica was responsible for all stages of assembly and installation of the towers, ensuring the correct fixing of the systems that make up the Radar and guaranteeing the full functioning of the structures in the challenging environments of the Northern Region of Brazil. The entire process was led by our specialized technical team, with a focus on efficiency and precision.
Our scope covered all stages of the process:
Structural design of the towers , considering the specific requirements of load, wind and compatibility with radar systems;
Manufacturing of metal structures , with strict quality control of each component;
Hot-dip galvanizing , ensuring corrosion resistance and durability in environments with high humidity and salinity;
Finishing painting , following technical and visual standards appropriate to the operational environment;
Transport, assembly and installation in the field , carried out by our specialized technical team.
The work was carried out in full compliance with the technical standards and logistical requirements of each location, ensuring safety, functionality and structural performance. This delivery reaffirms Engeletrica's ability to offer complete and integrated engineering solutions for the defense and critical infrastructure sector, consolidating our operations throughout the country.
